If it's in the instructions which I haven't bothered to read then I appologise in advance. I nulled out the meter and tested, but had a -zero result.

On the RCD side can it carry out auto tests or do you have to carry out all tests manually by means of a 0 to shift switch. Also best to look for one that will RCD ramp test, you would find this very useful when you have doubts about the RCD tripping current. For an extra one'er or so I reckon it might be best to look around at spending a monkey tops and go for a Megger or perhaps a Fluke tbqh. Have a sniff about and bang some prices up on to the forum m8, and the electricians will be able to advise you accordingly. I have a Megger MFT which was used 4 times for sale. Can anyone reccomend a brand of test leads with crocodile clips which would solve my problem to save me buying another poor set. Do you mean to say that the pair of jaws, both metal, are not connected via a metal 'hinge-pin' and spring?

Hello All, I've got a Ford Connect , I've got a universal kit and a relay by-pass from the suppliers. The only reason I'm doing it myself is that they are fully booked until mid July and I need the trailer next week. I've fitted the tow bar, but all of the wiring for the lights is thin black wiring and there are several wires into each light. Does anyone know where best to connect to???????
