I use thread tape but the pitch of the tread seams to be deeper thus stripping the tape back as I tighten. I was just wondering what others would recommend to lock the threads. I filled the system to try it n has minor leaks at six threads out of 20 with no options to tighten. Advice would be appreciated… obliged macplum.

Just seems a bit counter productive to me. Asking for a friend. Apparantly Just Talk isn't for banter and fun, however it is completely acceptable to allow threads from the year dot to be hauled up again. Strange old world. I may be over applying to compensate for the play that appears within the threads. Good stuff. In order to standardise mainly, metric threads came along in Coarse or Fine applications - although Fine are fairly rare in most applications. This is the blue coloured stuff you see on many of the bolts on your bike which stops them coming loose with the vibration of riding your bike. Drilled holes too big for furniture lock -what can I use to cover up? Was hoping it would be tapered or at least be able to tighten in on parallel thread. Did he say something that was not considered woke? Install the app. Percussive maintainance, if it don't fit, hit it with the hammer. Looks like I can source some anyhow.

Is it just not used much here for some reason? Loctite - where do I buy it? Are you a trade or supplier? Nyloc are fine for studs providing there isn't heat involved, and theoretically you should use the nut only once - but no one ever does! Blue is a medium strength threadlocker for nuts and bolts from say around 4 mm to 25mm.
