Staff miserable, food awful. Sure you seating plan for 787 9 not be able to store anything at your feet for takeoff and landing but what difference does that make when you can get up with ease as many times as you want. As the aircraft itself is the quietest plane out there with the best in-flight air quality, the very comfortable seating makes it a wonderful ride.

Unlike others here, I found the aisle was no narrower than main cabin aisles in other aircraft and the seat cushion did not tilt up enough to notice, even though I was paying attention to it. Viewing Boeing Layout 2. I like looking out the window but in this position the wing blocks all the downward view and the top of the wing-mounted engine blocks a lot of the forward view. Every time I fell asleep my head hit my chest and I woke up. The TV screens are large and there are several. Feels like more than 32" seat pitch. Paid for with miles and cash - well worth the expense. The economy seats on this plane are too narrow. No storage during takeoff and landing. The United Airlines Boeing aircraft are some of the most technologically advanced aircraft flying. Not having floor storage is a minor inconvenience. Seat 1E had lots of room including the footwells. Its a window seat and the noise from the engines was deafening on the long flight. The foot wells are the biggest, and I feel E and D have more space in general.

At least 16 A had good legroom. Seat 1 A is a standard Business Class seat located at a bulkhead that transforms into a fully flat bed. Very Uncomfortable trip with really no recline available. I cannot understand hour people can complain that there is not much difference in regular economy. But seatbacks do not recline much more than those of economy or main cabin extra. No room for bag under foot rest like other rows. I would not sit in 5 again as you are the odd row out in the cabbin. I was the only passenger on this row, occupying 24D on the long haul from Sydney to Los Angeles. This row isn't a bulkhead 9 and doesn't have limited recline Agree that seats near the galley are prone to disturbance. I posted a full review in "Crew vs. I did not feel the "moister" cabin atmosphere that has been advertised for this plane. I liked the electronic window shades because they allow you to cut down on extreme sunlight while still being able to see outside. I skipped the coffee this time around.
