So, I might have gone a little nuts, shein haul. This girl loves a deal and boy did I get one. I hesitated to share this huge clothing haul because none of what I bought is great quality and none of it was a necessity but it sure has shein haul me a big boost and got me ready for summer!

Boasting, at the time of writing, 69k likes, the post certainly resonated with much of the Instagram crowd. As it turns out, massive hauls from the brand are becoming a trend on TikTok. A quick search of the sheinhaul hashtag on TikTok shows that TikToks made with the hashtag have 2. Scrolling through the TikToks is quite a rollercoaster journey. While Shein haul TikToks show off the clothes themselves, some of them are fail videos. Presumably testing the brand for their followers. These TikToks end up showing how Shein garments are of poor quality and bad fit. This is unsurprising given the fact that Shein is a fast-fashion brand. One ends up wondering: where do all these garments go after the hauls? Why are these massive hauls happening? What kind of culture is this creating? Or, more accurately: perpetuating?

I recently ordered some cute spring and summer outfits to wear when we went to Florida. I wanted to share my latest Shein haul with you and review the pieces I got! First off we have this beautiful pink and purple bell sleeve dress. It is so perfect. I love the flowy sleeves, and how light weight it is. I also love the mid thigh length. My only qualm with it is the neckline opens up a lot so I need a safety pin or fashion tape to keep from flashing the girls! I wore it with my favorite most comfortable wedges that look so good with everything!

I recently ordered some summer clothing from Shein so that I had cute summer outfits to wear in Florida. You can watch my video review or you can read about each piece and see pictures below! I loved how this tie-dyed t-shirt looked online. It looked like pretty mermaid colors and the shell designs looked like glitter, I thought it was the perfect top to wear to the beach. While I knew it was oversized I was shocked about how long it is! The material is really smooth and slippery like swimsuit material and it is very comfortable. When I saw this bright pink and red leopard print maxi dress I had to get it! It also has some of my favorite details like the shirred top and shoulder ties.

My 1st order I was a little skeptical that the quality would be very good because the prices are almost too good to be true! What can we do about overconsumerist culture? Shocked you shop and promote Shein. Their environmental impact is greatly in question as well. I was still a bit worried cause hey, this is a dress for my wedding, not just regular clothes. In its original form, fast fashion, which started becoming really popular in the mids, is a subset of the fashion industry that produces much faster, and much more, than the rest of the industry. Shipping was fast and free and the return I did on my first order was easy and I received a refund in a reasonable amount of time. It was what I would call my test order. The Shein hauls are a sign of a culture that we need to change. Did you catch Part 2? Fashion hauls are almost never about the clothing itself. It seems that a lot of the haul TikToks and haul videos on YouTube are not actually done by influencers who are paid, nor sponsored.

Shein is more popular than ever at the moment, but do the budget-friendly clothes actually last?

In the end, more people buy from Shein. Price Free. While I chose the only flattering pose I could find, these pants made me look larger than I am.
