Sky went down last night with tens of thousands of users reporting problems with their internet access. Service users took to the website Down Detector in their sky network outage with reports beginning at around 10pm and peaking about an hour later. The reports have continued this morning although most users have found it to be working again. A message on the Sky Help website posted at

Sky Mobile customers have reported that the phone network is down this afternoon. The issues appeared to begin shortly before 1pm, according to the online outage tracker Down Detector. Many Sky Mobile users have posted on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon, complaining that they are unable to make or receive phone calls. Others have stated that they are not able to send or receive messages, and that they are not able to use mobile internet services. Down Detector has logged thousands of outage notices from users in the UK, spiking at around 2pm. We are investigating the issue and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing. The provider also responded to individual customer queries as complaints continued to be posted on Twitter.
