The mod allows players to configure mods from within the game , making it more convenient to adjust the settings of other compatible mods. This mod offers some of the functionality provided by the Nexus Mod Manager. However, its primary advantage is that all functionality is made available within the game itself. The Mod Configuration Menu is accessible from the pause menu. It also provides a user-friendly interface to access other compatible mods. Once installed, The Mod Configuration Menu is easily accessed through the pause menu. No special items or keys are required to access the menu, and any mod can be made compatible with it if developers choose to make it so.

We took up the task to port the concept to Skyrim and implemented it as the SkyUI control panel. This guide will give you a quick overview of all necessary steps to add your own config menu. Once you're familiar with the basic concepts, you should have no trouble picking up the rest from the examples we provide, or just by taking a look at the API reference. For the rest of this guide, we assume that you're familiar with the Creation Kit and Papyrus.
