One of the standout performances in Slasher comes from Leslie Hope, who plays Sarah's mother in flashbacks. Hope is a veteran actress of film and television, appearing in everything from The X-Files to 24 to The Strain, and she brings a powerful presence to Slasher even in death. We see her murder in gruesome detail in the first episode, and her ghostly presence looms over the entire season. Kaitlyn Leeb also delivers a solid performance as Lisa Ann Follows, a local news reporter who becomes obsessed with the murders and starts digging into Sarah's past.
