Ain't no way that the Tarkus rip off menaged to slay all the remaining Loyce Knights. Dude couldn't even dodge the skelly ball after it ran him over 7 times in a row. Black knight shield backstab fishers are everywhere in PvP, so I always have my knight slayer's ring on call. It doesn't sound like a worthwhile buff but it's a world of difference. Just tested it with a friend, it does not deal additional poise damage in pvp. There's a night and day difference between who I stagger and who I don't when I throw this on. I checked it out with a modding tool called Yapped. Good for pvp but better to switch to that from another ring when you encounter a turtle as opposed to vice versa. I'll switch out my chloranthy and make sure I eat a blossom so I'm never wasting a ring. Turtles almost always give you time to switch n buff, but its not a garuntee when encountering other builds to swap from KSR to something else. I'm sure anyone would draw that conclusion eventually but better to keep in mind from the start for those just trying it out now.

The Lair of Tarn Razorlor is located in south-western Morytania. It is a complex dungeon with lots of undead , and features a miniquest to kill Tarn Razorlor , unless you have a slayer ring , in which case you can simply teleport directly to him, kill him, and take the book that enhances salve amulets which spawns in the next room after he dies. Follow this route to reach Tarn , but beware of traps! The easiest way to get to Tarn is to teleport to Tarn's Lair via a slayer ring. This will bring you directly outside of the room with Tarn.

Making a ring requires level 75 Crafting boosts work. Players must have an enchanted gem which can be purchased for one coin from any Slayer Master , a gold bar , and a ring mould in their inventories and use the gold bar on a furnace to make the ring. Making a ring yields 15 Crafting experience, the same as an ordinary gold ring. A slayer ring does not need to be enchanted. Slayer rings can be high alched to give coins at 8 charge, dropping by 6 coins per charge expended.
