Sparks of shadowflame

One of the most reliable sources of good, end-game gear are crafted items.

I have two sparks of shadowflame and would like to create a piece of gear. Is there any way to do that? I see in the prior season it required a bottle essence which required doing campaign quests. Any tips on using the spark of shadowflame would be helpful. Thank you!

We are curently at like sparks? And each week u get half new. If u make new char now u cant get to those in one day , after that u have to wait each week for new half as everyone else who is caugh up. Which means there is a cap. I personally need to craft some new items, but continue to be capped out weekly, and its very deep into the season for this cap to matter in any way. Like what is the worst that can happen? There is a sliding lifetime cap, which as others have said is about by now and increases by 0. You can also buy them from the vault vendor, should your vault not be very good one week. The problem is my character is capped. Mid season they get gutted and suddenly nobody uses them anymore, so essentially I had to scrap 2 full crafted items from my gear, which is 1 entire month of being time-gated by Sparks. The vault can help a bit, but at the same time I still need to craft 1 new pair of bracers and add a vault socket to it…. Why do you have to scrap the items?? Cant you just re craft the embelishments away from the items?? Sparks are not intended to be the primary form of gearing.

This means players can get their first full spark the same week as the release of the patch, sparks of shadowflame, and the second spark will be creatable on week 3 the week after season 2 startsetc.

I have gone literally the entirety of the current tier without getting an extra spark. Meanwhile, my RL has gotten 6 extra sparks. So, does "higher" chance to drop imply that there's ALWAYS a chance for them to drop, meaning they're actually farmable? Blizzard creating a solution new system for a system that had none the old. They could've fixed it by giving more valor higher mythic or at least remove the cap at upgrading gear. No, this is only for catch up. The "higher" chance I guess is because the sparks can potentially drop from anywhere until you're caught up.
