First of all, let me start by saying happy birthday to the site and congrats on the snazzy new name! Okay, so I have been watching SpongeBob from the very beginning. It was a cool show, and it had a nice "underwater" feel to it, and it actually had good taste in humor. It was great. Like Rocko's Modern Life, another Nicktoon, both shows had an uncanny talent for getting innuendos past Nick censors. Unfortunately, SpongeBob has a slightly milder form of that. Some of the things SpongeBob producers had to change were pretty silly, too. They had to change SpongeBob's dialogue from "screwed up" to "messed up" in Pickles, yet they have Mr. Krabs saying "and don't screw this one up" in Culture Shock. In another episode, "sexy" had to be changed to "cool," despite the fact that the word was used multiple times in The Fairly OddParents , which is a show geared for a slightly younger demographic than SpongeBob. Come on, guys! Even Rugrats got away with a joke about "Lonely Space Vixens"! I'm beginning to wonder if the producers of SpongeBob deleted the good jokes themselves.

Hopefully some old writers return for at least one or two more seasons and we'll be seeing something really amazing for the few years following the second movie.
