In a second Tweet shared on October 5, Barone hinted that the update will also add the ability to put hats on cats and dogs. This was met with an immediate positive response from fans who have long felt that the games' cats and dogs need more content. Currently, Stardew Valley players have the ability to adopt either one cat or one dog during the very first Spring season of the game.
