If anyone out there is still reading steam giveaway groups announcements, I'd just like to inform you that I have decided to "shut down" and stop making giveaways for this group. You may have noticed that I've not been having giveaways as often lately, steam giveaway groups. Since last Christmas I've only been able to give away some games in the summer, and now I won't be able to give more again until this next Christmas.

This is a pyramid scheme. It is a well known type fraud and illegal in most countries, may not be illegal in Belgium but I'd doubt that. Well, referral links are not allowed here, as laid out in this FAQ. By having giveaways that depend on people subscribing to your youtube and, what's more, bugging all their friends to do so as well, you too are profiting from other people clicking through to your group based on promises of free things which, in most cases, will not materialize. I hope you can now grasp the similarities. It's not technically against the rules the way you're doing it, and I'm not going to waste my time hassling you about it beyond this explanatory post, so do whatever you like, but, for the record, I think it's kind of sleazy. We formally created this Steam Group with the intent to deliver on short burst reviews for Steam that are linked to our personal accounts that offer a much more detailed overview of the games we play. We still continue to do that, and as well create YouTube videos with reviews, game related topics, discussions, and game listings that we think you would enjoy watching. Today, we have decided to open up our Steam Group Recruitment for Giveaways. My partner and I will do this kind of Steam Giveaway s or Discord Giveaways if they are for PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo, Epic or GOG once a month, probably at the beginning of the month, and provide you with one of the best games you've wanted to get your hands on or want to play. Some of the games may be containing a whole collection and some will be stand alone.
