I love my John deere but I think it's absolutely ridiculous to pay that much for plastic hood. If anyone has any ideas for replacement or a less expensive hood let me know thanks. My nephew yanked the hood open and busted it in several places. Found several mowers at auctions, but they seem to go for way too much to buy for just the hood. He used it without the hood and just recently sold it with the property he sold.
