Nivara's Lesson in Commonality is the second quest in a series of main quests the player receives shortly after arriving to Nel'Vari. In order to combat the darkness spreading throughout the Western Region, the player accepts some lessons from Nivara to bolster their stats and learn more about the elven village. During this quest, Nivara asks the player to improve their relationship with prickliest resident of Nel'Vari and understand their point of view. Main quests are a series of quests the player must accomplish in order to complete the core narrative of the game. These are quests that tell the adventure of the player and their journey, as they travel through the world of Sun Haven. These quests often have many steps to them, with each step having its own requirement to proceed to the next.

Once defeated, nodes of Beryl , Citrine , Dizzite , Emerald , Lapis , Tanzanite , and Tourmaline gem nodes are randomly generated which can then be mined. To start the encounter, you need to use a pickaxe on Dizzy until it reacts. Dizzy has a spinning attack where it will rapidly spin across the area until it hits a wall, at which point it will either turn and try to target the player for another spinning attack, or become "dizzy" and be stunned for a short amount of time.
