Suou tatsuya
Though his name is set as "Tatsuya Suou" by default in Persona 2: Innocent Sin , players can change it at will. He has an older brother named Katsuya Suou , a police detective, as well a unnamed father. Tatsuya has brown hair worn long with a center part, brown eyes, and lightly tanned skin. At 5'11" cm , he could be considered tall especially in Japan where Persona 2 is set , although he is shorter than his fellow Persona user Eikichi Mishina. In Innocent Sin he wears the male-variant Seven Sisters uniform, consisting of a black blazer and black pants with contrast trim worn over a white button-down shirt, and black sneakers. Additionally, he wears a blue tie, indicating his status as a third-year student. A black wristwatch can be seen on his left arm and his belt buckle has a distinctive leonine design. His childhood self is dressed in much lighter clothing: a white and blue raglan t-shirt. In Eternal Punishment , Tatsuya sports a two-piece motorcycle outfit consisting of red pants and a matching jacket with a large 'X' symbol on its front. He also now has a distinctive tattoo-like marking winding up his right forearm. Tatsuya Suou is the primary protagonist of Persona 2: Innocent Sin. Following the tradition of Shin Megami Tensei series, he is a silent protagonist, and some aspects of his personality are determined by the player's in-game actions and decisions. He has a more established history and personality than most other silent protagonists in the franchise, due in no small part to his ability to speak in Eternal Punishment. A distinct characteristic of his present in both Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment is his habit of flicking the engraved Zippo lighter Jun gifted to him as a child open and closed. While Tatsuya lost Jun's Zippo lighter in the Eternal Punishment timeline since they never met in this reality and thus never exchange gifts , he keeps this habit by using a new, silver-colored Zippo lighter he bought somewhere.
The symbolism for the flames on his shoulder come from the lighter Jun Kurosu gave as a gift to Tatsuya. When they reach HQ and Albus introduces them, Central, looking suou tatsuya older, initially doesn't recognize them until he mentions his name, they were one of the missing people after "The Disaster", suou tatsuya. If that's his intention, then Tatsuya will illuminate him with the light burning in their hearts instead!
Tatsuya Suou is the protagonist of Persona 2: Innocent Sin and the deuteragonist of Persona 2: Eternal Punishment and the second protagonist in the Persona series. He is a student at Seven Sisters High School who gets involved in a plot perpetrated by the evil Joker. He awakens his Persona in a battle with the Joker and joins his other classmates in tracking him down to stop him from killing people. The Joker is revealed to be the leader of a group called the Masked Circle who benefit from the odd occurrence of rumors becoming reality, and Tatsuya and his allies band together to defeat them. Eventually it's revealed that the Masked Circle has come to be in league with an army led by the, once assumed, long deceased member of the Third Reich: Adolf Hitler. Tatsuya and his friends end up defeating Joker and revealing him to be their long lost friend Jun, who joins them in attempting to defeat Hitler before he uses the powers of rumors to take Sumaru City and turn it into a space ship to destroy the rest of the world.
The long-running Persona series is known for its fusion of RPG gameplay and simulated school life , with the formula being firmly established in Persona 3. The games' protagonists are historically mostly-silent and leave a lot to the players' imagination. However, when they're compared to each other, their individual characters become more apparent. The mainline Persona games have seven protagonists across the series, and they do have traits in common; all of them are natural leaders and have personalities that draw other people towards them. However, the way they interact with other characters and how they view themselves change in each game. Out of all of the protagonists, Persona 's main character is perhaps the most "blank slate. Side content and flavor text fill in some of the gaps for Naoya; for example, a comment Mark makes suggests that Naoya isn't particularly studious.
