I was wondering with the good people here who have fitted an aftermarket electric fuel pump, was this to a highly modified TD or could it be of assistance to joe average. I am interested due to the fact that I run 2 diesel filters, factory job plus a 2 micron Racor and I have had the fuel turned up a touch for the aftermarket turbo. I know a few blokes here have really beefed up the power, is it only useful in this senario? Dumb question but if the electric pump failed and it was installed near the tank, would the vehicle still run on the factory vacuum pump, ie still draw through the electric one while not working? Mine will still run with pusher pump not operating but will starve at higher rpm's like it did before the fitment of the electric pump Muz. About the pump Holley RED if it fails fuel will continue to flow through same as before using the std injector pump, but without the add driveability the holley add of course.

I would put a switch in so that if anyone puts the vehicle on a dyno, you could instantly see any difference in power.
