Just was wondering if anyone else has picked one of these lowers up and their thoughts? What's the point? You can pick up a complete metal lower for the same price or a couple bucks more. The weight savings would be minimal at best. I may give one a try for my ultralight build.

I had been toying with getting an Aero Precision completed upper because I really like their enhanced upper's integral rail mounting system, but I didn't want the birdcage and the non-adjustable gas block that came with it.
