There's something to be said about the fact that whenever a foggy day in Pennsylvania rolls in, I can count on seeing at least one person's post on social media about how it's "giving Silent Hill vibes today. Silent Hill's enduring prevalence with folks of all kinds can be attributed to a variety of factors. While the film isn't without flaws, I find it's more appreciated with time. Judging it on its own though this is a decent horror film with some interesting visuals, but has some mixed acting and a convoluted story. Could have been better in my opinion, but ultimately pretty good considering most game-to-film adaptions.
