Tucked away amid the hustle and bustle of the upscale resort, the restaurant is set in a converted courtyard that feels like a secret garden. Shaded by two large almond trees adorned with fairy lights in the center of the courtyard, the decor is a tasteful mix of modern aesthetic and vintage glamor. Creeping vines scale the walls, mirrors reflect the soft lighting, and lush ferns complement the sandstone walls. The cool, relaxed nature of the space is reflected in the menu, designed by Chef Martin Davies. The restaurant specializes in comfort food with a twist, making for a laid-back dining experience where smart-casual attire is considered appropriate. Location: Long Bay Beach. Modern open air courtyard setting with its lush greenery and beautiful lighting, it somehow manages to both feel romantic and also be great for groups. Go to Sui Ren for an early bite and then head to Almond Tree after for live music and a cocktail. Casual only by the very chic and Instagram-able Shore Club standards. The staff was friendly and inviting, the cocktails were delicious, the food was amazing, and there was live music which was outstanding. It was our birthday which they celebrated with a special message on our dessert and a shout out from the musician. If you are in Provo, this restaurant is a must…definitely in our top three of the island.
