Breakfasts are big in Morayfield, when dining at this quirky pet-friendly cafe and gift shop in the Morayfield Centre, near Spotlight. Artfully decorated with gift items, browse the colourful range of scarves, stylish handbags, kids' purses, soft baby toys and hats, zippered pouches and toiletry bags. By their own admission, this old-fashioned cafe offers freshly made food and coffee on the premises. Both sweet and savoury dishes that did not disappoint in terms of size or taste. A traditional breakfast and brunch dish such as Avo on Sourdough was doused with lashings of feta, spinach and garnished with sun-dried tomato atop two slices of sourdough. Much appreciated was the provision of Balsamic in a separate jug so the customer can determine how much they want splashed around. Highly recommended are the Belgian waffles with strawberries or banana, but equally satisfying would be a Bacon and egg on 'Turkish', a serving of soup, one of the deep-dish quiches and tarts from the cake cabinet or even the humble Raisin Toast an inch thick and dripping with butter.
