The luxurious decor, the luminous floor, the breath-taking ceiling…the energy will hit you once you walk through the doors. It all goes back to their contemporary take on traditional Japanese and Chinese design elements. The floor is embedded with green semi-precious stones back-lit with neon lights. Meanwhile, the ceiling is decorated with a metre long complex drawing of two Asian dragons.

The restaurant offers you a full-sensory experience. Find dishes elaborated on the multiple cultures and countries of Asia. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu to suit those with dietary restrictions. The dishes are based on the traditions and culture of the multiple countries spread across the Asian continent, so rich in flavour and presentation is guaranteed. The Ivy Asia Black Shell seafood platter is the perfect example, with impeccable presentation and high-quality ingredients. Dry ice surrounds many of the dishes, adding flair to their display. The a la carte menu includes many sushi platters to share, including a Japanese-inspired Bonsai sharing plate. Find dozens of fresh sashimi, small dishes like tempura and dumplings, and large dishes with wagyu beef, fresh salmon, and roasted aubergine. Get the lunch stack, share a multi-course meal with your partner, or go for the house-famous crispy duck, served with imperial caviar. Special seasonal menus are available. Inside, find a colourful and not at all minimalistic decor and design. Bright shades of colour take over the space, with a green floor, pink cherry blossoms taking over the ceiling and some of the corner walls, and lavishing and eclectic furniture spread around the spacious dining room. Cobalt blue booths highlight the lively environment, and the colourful stained glass windows add to the flair of the place.

So let me start by saying the couple of negative points do not outweigh out beautiful this restaurant is. We chose loads of sharing Felix the manager came out and made time to apologize and also offered us a complimentary glass of bubbles each, the most amazing pudding sharing plate the passion fruit mini doughnuts sensational and also the popcorn shrimp. This was so lovely that Felix organised this for us, and he happily took about 50 photos of us. The service was slow yes but when we were served the staff were lovely and so so polite. Decor stunning!!!!!! View stunning!!!

Smart casual at lunch time. A couple of our American cousins were in shorts and trainers. Not sure about dinner. We don't recall any one in sportswear etc but we always go jacket trousers and tie anyhow , no matter where best to check direct. It was considerable time back , but I'm a consistent dresser if nothing else.. No slobs there our night. Nonchalantly chic.
