The Legend of Zelda is one of the most popular video game franchises in existence, approaching 30 total titles with the May release of Tears of the Kingdom. Since its inception in , the franchise has been driven forward by Link and the titular Zelda, as the two main characters. However, Link and Zelda are by no means the only heroes of the series. There are many other Legend of Zelda characters with good in them, whether they have their own storylines going on or they play an active part in Link's. The best heroes can have their own problems of identity and resolve, but still ultimately come good in the end, rising up against the various forces of evil present throughout The Legend of Zelda. Regardless of overall opinions, Navi is an iconic character in The Legend of Zelda.
