The cast alone is reason enough to look forward to Trophy Wife , but the trailer does a great job of selling the comedy, which stars Malin Akerman as the young bride to Bradley Whitford's Pete, who's now on his third marriage. The story centers on Akerman's Kate and her attempts to adjust to the responsibilities of being a mother to her husband's kids, one of whom is plyed by the hilarious kid from Super 8 Ryan Scott Lee. To make matters more challenging for Kate, Marcia Gay Harden's Diana - one of the ex-wives - is an intense, over-achieving doctor with a chip on her shoulder.
