The Titanite Demon titanite demon, also referred to as Prowling Demon or Faceless Demontitanite demon, is an intimidating foe that often guards valuable items or important areas in Dark Souls. It is also one of the few sources of rare Demon Titanite used for weapon upgrades.
The Prowling Demons, also known as the Titanite Demons, are demons born from the scattered legendary slabs after the unnamed blacksmith deity passed away. Located just past the first Blacksmith, the Titanite Demon stands between you and the entrance to Darkroot Garden. He is also found four more times during the game: in the pit of Sen's Fortress, once in a small room in Anor Londo, once in the Catacombs and guarding the entrance to Lost Izalith. Each sighting is an optional fight encounter. He drops Demon Titanite; additionally as a rare drop he can drop the Titanite Catch Pole, which is the weapon he uses. The Demon who guards Lost Izalith is slightly different from the others as he respawns each time you touch a bonfire. Since this version of the Prowling Demon drops two demon titanite upon death it is possible to farm this valuable resource from the Demon. It's not uncommon for many players to fall at the first hurdle when fighting the Titanite Demon, as as soon as he spots you he will begin to hurl deadly lightning bolts in your direction. He will do this whenever you are a certain distance away, so it is best to close the gap quickly as soon as you spot the Titanite Demon. When you're closer to the Demon he will perform melee attacks using his Titanite Catch pole and his actual body. It is best to keep moving around the demon with your shield up during these attacks; try to keep behind the demon and attack his back, taking regular breaks to block any of his attacks as necessary. His melee attacks do have considerable range, so it is best to block them or try to roll through them. Despite the dangerous range of the attacks the Titanite Demon is slow and somewhat cumbersome.

The people who always try to say this game is never unfair and any time you fail it's completely your fault must have missed when this enemy's pole attacks are able to go through 2 ft. It does per arrow but no need to get close, heal, defend. They may have high Poise and Defenses but they are slow, can be staggered and you can block their swings once while two handing.
