Southborough was originally one of the four Boroughs that came within the domain of Tonbridge Castle. Southborough has a small, but busy, High Street with local shops including convenience stores, butchers, wine merchants and a variety of restaurants. Other amenities include a combined area of 71 acres of woodland and Common, upon which cricket has been played for over years. There are a selection of local primary schools, with a wide range of secondary and grammar schools available in the nearby towns of Royal Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge. In both of these towns, you will also find an extensive range of shopping facilities with many of the High Street retailers represented. Southborough is situated immediately to the north of Royal Tunbridge Wells itself, with the A26 London Road passing through it, linking the A21 and M25 road network, allowing easy access to London and Kent coast. Tlc tunbridge wells

The Club was formed around and played in the local Tunbridge Wells leagues for many years. Having played at various grounds around the town they moved to their present location at the Alderbrook Recreation Ground in the early 's. Since those early times they have enjoyed mixed fortunes, moving up and down the various divisions through the years. Francis Rangers by 11 points and they made it a league and cup double by beating near neighbours Uckfield Town in the Division Two Cup Final. Further success followed as back-to-back championships were gained when they were again crowned champions by 7 points from runners-up Wick FC therefore they were back in Division One after a nine year absence. They also improved on their previous league position to finish in 4th place, level on points with 3rd placed Arundel FC whose superior goal difference meant they took 3rd spot. This was despite The Crows beating them twice in the league. Going forward we have ambitions to be a force to be reckoned with in the Ryman South and beyond. Due to the demand, the women's section immediately formed a Reserve team who were to compete in the League the following season. The players ranged in age from 11 to 27 FA Rules now require players to be 16 years old to play adult Status football.
