Toby is a Tram Engine, he has cowcatchers and side plates and barely looks like a steam engine. Despite a now over 70 year old character, Toby is probably the most overlooking main character on Sodor, not getting the same love a lot of other mains get. William Hope, in my opinion is not a good voice actor. Toby is no exception, he sounds exactly the same as Edward, who sounds exactly the same as Whiff, who sounds exactly the same as Farmer McColl, you get the gist.
