Season 2 gained more hype than season 1 and the reason is evident! Then obviously, Kaneki getting targeted by the ghouls was not something to be surprised about! This season involves a lot of deaths. This season also has twelve episodes. After some incidents, it was somehow revealed that Takatsuki is a ghoul. May 8, Now what? After a series of incidents, the plot becomes engaging when Ken meets other ghouls. May 1, It is recommended to watch or read both versions to get a complete understanding of the story. They are partially correct in that the anime leaves out a lot of important information, but even so, if you watch the anime as just that rather than trying to compare it to the manga, you might enjoy it.
