Traffic update on m1 northbound

A man has died after being hit by a HGV on the M1 this morning, with the motorway closed in both directions. Emergency services raced to the scene shortly after 3pm following reports of a crash, with police confirming that a man had also been spotted on a bridge in the moments before the fatal accident.
