There are many bilingual students in schools located in rural areas of the east and southeast of Turkey. Especially bilingual students at the primary school level experience language conflict during the process of acquiring Turkish as a second language. Many teachers from the provinces of Turkey, especially in the western regions, are appointed to schools where bilingual students are educated.

The main focus of the study is the possible causes of phonetic change and the motives that simplify voicing. In this regard, twenty-three texts of Old Oghuz Turkish have been scanned, the examples of voicing have been classified and evaluated. It is well known that these kinds of voicing examples are tackled within the same category and have been explained through the sound paradigm based on enclisis. In the study, it is emphasized that it is not correct to evaluate all mentioned voicing examples with voicing related to sound paradigm, and many of them must be evaluated independent with voicing caused by enclisis.
