The idea of a franchise Vin Diesel wanting such a complete picture, that they create short movies to fill plot holes, is just perfect to me. I think they could stand to do a little more of that, minute segments with various characters. This portion of the franchise coming in at about 6 minutes is all silent. It has pieces put together fro the time Brian ad Dom went their separate ways at the end of the first. It has a nice little segue into the Miami scene. It gives a quick glimpse of what it might be like trying to make a name for yourself, all while finding your own way.
