Undertale hotlands

Toby Fox's hit RPG Undertale is a game that many hold near and dear to their heart, praising the soundtrack, the characters, the battle system, undertale hotlands, and much, much more, undertale hotlands. However, there are heaps of content that even the most seasoned Undertale players probably missed on their first, second, and even third playthroughs. So much content in fact, that we've had to break it down into several articles. Hotland is one of the last defined regions in the game, following Undertale hotlands.

This page takes you through the Hotland area in a neutural walkthrough for Undertale. It is recommended you complete a pacifist run first using our Pacifist Walkthrough if you want to experience all the endings. After making your way through Waterfall you can finally start on the Hotlands. From the first save point in the Hotlands, head east to find a large building marked 'LAB' and go inside. Everything will be too dark to inspect but you'll notice a screen playing yourself. Keep going east and Dr Alphys will emerge from a room and turn the lights on. She is surprised to see you and will make awkward conversation before offering to guide you to the castle.

This page takes you through the Hotland area in a genocide walkthrough for Undertale. It is recommended you complete a pacifist run first using our Pacifist Walkthrough if you want to experience all the endings. After making your way through Waterfall you can finally start on the Hotlands. You will need to kill 40 creatures as well as Mettaton to meet the criteria for a genocide run in these sections. From the first save point in the Hotlands, head east to find a large building marked 'LAB' and go inside. You can grab some noodles from the fridge and as you continue you'll meet up with Mettaton who'll tell you that Alphys has been evacuating everyone, then he'll leave. The path is fairly linear for a while, so continue on it past the conveyor belts north and you'll come to a save point. You can't go north here so turn east and step on the arrow to be launched across the gap. Use these squares to make your way east and then walk south to find a quickly switching square and conveyor belts. Step on it while it's facing left to claim the frypan or 'burnt pan' - it's a weapon with an attack value of 10, it also makes consumable items heal 4 more HP. There's nothing to the right, so head back up and take the squares north and then west to get to the next area. Normally there would be puzzles up ahead but they have been disabled so make your way North through the large doors. As you continue north you'll come to two guards who aren't so happy about you killing Undyne.

Now you need to choose RG 01 and whisper to him.

This clam-headed monster talks about how he came to Hotland from Waterfall specifically to get a drink. He comments if the protagonist carries a glass of water [1] and if they dump a few glasses of, or all of the water on the ground. If the protagonist poured all of the water out of the cooler and dropped it, he talks about how there is now a "private pool" and says worse things have happened. These dragon and wisp-like monsters are glad that the reactivated puzzles are preventing them from progressing, as they do not want to work. They are also fans of Mettaton 's show. If Mettaton is killed, the dragon-like monster says that's OK since it's CGI for him, and the wisp-like monster says that Mettaton's fanclub double-sized after that last episode. This monster speaks in dialogue ending with a question or a question mark.

After leaving the elevator, a path to the east leads the protagonist to Muffet's Spider Bake Sale. It is also one of the hardest to tackle, holding some of the most difficult fights in the game except, well, him. They later wonder if Alphys will end up the same way as Gaster. Near the left door is a large monitor that displays the protagonist's face. After beating this puzzle, Alphys calls the protagonist, and ask if they want to watch anime with her. There's nothing to the right, so head back up and take the squares north and then west to get to the next area. Hotlands is the fourth major area of Undertale, following on from the Undyne battle and Waterfall area. JPG Vulkin. While these characters are never seen, interacting with the hole that they reside in prompts a squeak. After defeating Undyne , the protagonist continues into Hotland.
