I think adding a skill tree to this game would make this game more satisfying and fun to play. Regarding the 7D2D comparisons - I think their current skill tree is near perfect. It could use some tweaks but is SO much better than it's old learn-by-doing yawn-fest of spending day after day crafting piles of junk to raise a skill. But in Valheim, the LBD system works great. The progression feels natural, nothing feels gated, it's a perfect mechanic for a game like this. But, I would like to see more skills.
