The Legendary Super Saiyan and Goku combine for one terrifyingly powerful form! He has Broly's muscular build, necklace, belt, robe and pants, while having Goku's wristbands and boots. He also has a Metamo-Ring on his left arm. He retains the same appearance in Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle , however, while his card appearance retains his appearance in Dragon Ball Fusions , his in-game appearance is different. His robe is orange instead of red, the Metamo-Ring on his left arm is green with gold stripes instead of black with gold stripes, and he also has Broly's leg bands above his boots. Unlike most other antagonist fusions in Dragon Ball Fusions , Karoly retains Goku's personality which is dominant and has full control over the fusion. As a result, Karoly is pure hearted like Goku.

However, this is where the error takes place. In episode 22 of DBS, Gotenks flies in to battle and headbutts Tagoma in the nuts, taking him down for a bit. Gotenks then challenges Frieza, but defuses right afterward. Frieza then gets curious for them learning the fusion technique, before getting irate when he puts two and two together when he figures out who they are. I know the manga only made note of the encounter with Frieza, where is said that Goku and Vegeta fought together. Freeza was in shock over Goku and Vegeta fusing, not over fusion in general. Both Saiyans, Goku and Vegeta initially start as enemies but later become allies in the series. Over the years, through intense training and battles, they achieved multiple transformations, including Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan God, and Super Saiyan Blue.
