Ventusor Ven for short, is one of the protagonists of the Kingdom Hearts series who made his debut in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.

Keeping up with the lore of Kingdom Hearts is like doing a puzzle without a reference; the pieces all fit together, but there will be more questions than answers until the entire puzzle is completed. One such example is when players noticed that Roxas looks more similar to Ventus than Sora. The mystery is deepened as Roxas is Sora's Nobody, a being who lost their heart to the darkness. While Roxas is introduced before Ventus in Kingdom Hearts II and is the first of the two to appear in the canon, the story actually begins in the prequel title, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. At end of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep , Ventus' body lies comatose in the Chamber of Waking as his heart is sleeping with Sora, where it can mend and heal, to be returned to Ventus once it has done so.
