Open until PM. Quick and convenient location downtown! We stopped in to get some quick snacks. The building was clean, customer service was fine. This was a quick stop, but glad to see and easy to find. Stopped in to grab some basic food items for the hotel stay. As soon as we walked in, we were hit with hot air.

The hard part, however, is actually finding an empty parking spot in Houston! With such a high demand, Houston downtown parking can be expensive. Some garages charge very high rates especially during the evenings or on event days. On-street parking is enforced Monday-Saturday from 7am to 6pm, parking is free after 6pm, and all day Sunday. Pay stations enforce time limits ranging from 2 to 10 hours of maximum stay. Please keep in mind that some metered areas become tow away zones on weekdays between 7am-9am and 4pm-6pm so, remember to read the parking signs carefully. Did you know over the past year, Walgreens has been using Houston as a test market for a new store type? The announcements for the new stores were quiet, but the concept has made a huge impact. Growing up in and around Houston, most folks were very familiar with their neighborhood drug stores. Even out in the suburbs where my family lived Walgreens was the closest thing we had to a store within walking distance. It proved to be a great asset for picking up snacks, and basic everyday items. However, as soon as I had access to a car, I much preferred to drive into town and stretch my teenage dollar further at places like Wal-Mart.
