By Raso , November 27, in Weapons. I equip my gear based on the rule of cool. Aside from that It seems you can go with Lovetap to get a less infuriating rate of fire without losing much DPS over all. I know there's more to weapons than raw DPS but I'm wondering what others thing about some of the other weapon combos out there,. Imo, build for fun first. Math and calculators are all nice, but they aren't very fun. It can shred stuff past that point, it just takes a bit longer. Is it the highest dps? Don't know and don't care. It's fun as hell and works better than I could have expected when I first made a "max dakka" build. And gaze is more of a comfort thing with how far you want the beam to reach, and whether it's worthwhile to sacrifice some base damage to save a mod slot on added range. Haymaker has the highest numbers but you lose much comfort, much recoil and slow fire rate very short range for beams gives you a bad experience depending on the situation.

VS those level eximus heavy gunners, the Rattleguts and Gaze performed a lot better than the Catchmoon and Tombfinger.

Warframe School. The Catchmoon is widely seen as the best Kitgun chamber, even though the other three versions are fine picks as well. It features innate Heat and Impact damage as well as Punch Through, which makes it a great weapon against large groups as well as against higher level enemies and even boss or assassination targets. It also has a fairly large caliber and shoots big energy-like beams, which do have a fast travel time as well as damage fall-off starting at 20 meters , no bonus damage on headshots and also a somewhat limited range of only 47,5 meters. Posted December 9, Posted January 4, Tombfinger Gibber fires about twice as fast with a measly 5th of the damage. Each component is centered around a particular aspect of the weapon, and these components can each have various parts to choose from, which changes the type of functionality that the component provides. My Rattleguts does use splat and has a Riven. A Kitgun will only give Mastery Rank points once gilded. If you're a newer player, consider skipping to the next section.
