The alien being called Warlock came from a Kvch in an unspecified location in outer space. Members of this race gave birth to great numbers of offspring, who resided in a "creche," although the process of birth may have been very different for this race than it was for life forms native to Earth. Children of this race proved their right to exist by battling their parents to the death; either the child killed the parent, or the parent slew the child. Warlock was the son of the Magus , the ruler of his native world and apparently its most powerful being. Warlock recognized his mutation when he realized that he did not care to slay his father.

Adam Warlock is a genetically-engineered being who possesses incredible physical powers, as well as the ability to manipulate energy and matter. Originally only known as Him , [6] he was created by the Enclave , a group of Earth based scientists who sought to create the perfect lifeform. They raised him at the Beehive on Shard Island [18] He later became a hero, fighting alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy [19] and the Avengers. Warlock, along with a group of heroes, worked to defeat Thanos and restore balance to the universe. He has been shown to possess the Soul Stone , which granted him control over souls and the ability to manipulate reality. Throughout his history, Warlock has undergone numerous transformations, including becoming a messianic figure known as the Magus. He joined forces with other heroes to stop Magus and prevent the destruction of the universe. Warlock was created by the group of researchers who called themselves the " Enclave. Fortunately for the denizens of Earth, the new being was a creature beyond the control of his creators. The creature whom they had created, then known only as "Him," emerged—and immediately sensed, upon his emergence, that his creators sought to use him for evil ends. He lashed out, damaging the complex and injuring his "fathers," and promptly escaped. Unfortunately for "Him," he was a being with no life experience due to his unique conception.
After the two timelines returned to normal, they merged together, with warlock marvel parallel, and supposedly much more powerful, version of Warlock retroactively taking over the position of the now annihilated former incarnation, whose life was detailed above, warlock marvel.
