Somewhere in the mountains southwest of Stromkapp, Wartales players will be able to find an ancient ruin that's full of dark halls to explore and treasures to plunder. However, much of its musty halls are locked, keeping explorers away from the secrets they hide. Exploring the Tiltren Tomb early in Wartales can be quite beneficial. Here, players can collect unique items and a bunch of valuables that they can sell for a quick buck. However, apart from the giant mole rats, zombie-like creepers, and the oppressive darkness, players will have to solve a few puzzles if they want to get all the riches they can get their hands on.

The Wartales Tiltren tomb puzzle is found inside a burial chamber in the southwest of the region. The tomb is easy to stumble across pretty early on in the game, especially if you're exploring in the hope of capturing animals to add to your party, and nothing is stopping you from venturing inside as soon as you find it—providing you have the Krowns to buy the required torches. The puzzle itself isn't particularly tricky, though finding the correct runes to solve it can be difficult in the dark confines of the tomb. The puzzle solution is also different each time so I'll explain exactly what you need to do in this guide. With that in mind, here's how to solve the Tiltren tomb puzzle in Wartales. To enter the Tiltren tomb, you'll need torches to see where you're going. You can buy these from the vendor standing outside for 27 Krowns each.
Much of Wartales sees you wandering the lands competing quests and looking for adventure in a war-torn medieval setting. Related : Wartales Tips and Tricks for Beginners. Follow the road that leads southwest from the town and then take the first left turn heading south. Tiltren Tomb is on the south side of those woods. Your Fatigue bar has a Light Meter underneath it while inside the tomb.

There are three battles, all mirroring the ones from Tiltren Tomb. Also, remember to loot all urns , bodies , and chests you find. There is a full set of three Codex here, plus other random goodies. The Merchant will go running into the tomb as the door opens, hunting for treasure. New exits NE and SW. Leave by the SW exit. New exits NW and SE. Again, there is water on the ground, but left of the NW exit, there is a slide puzzle on the wall.

Just like when you mine for ore, complete the mining mini game to smash the stone. There are three runes to find in total, and they correspond to a colour on the puzzle mechanism. Before inspecting the door, there is an urn on the right side you should inspect for more loot. These runes are randomly generated, so players must find each of them on their own.
It can be confusing to navigate, especially given its maze-like nature. You may just stumble upon the Tomb of the Ancients before you get the bounty to head in. Make sure you have lots of torches with you.

They don't last indefinitely though, and you'll be spending torch charges each time you explore deeper into the tomb so it's a good idea to stock up before you head inside. It's also worth noting that if you mess up, your scholar will become injured so you'll need to treat them with medicine to have another go. I can't do them to save my life, I hate them so much.
