The Mountain Goats' starting quarterback is suspended leading up to a big rivalry game; Sammy and Billy the Goat are kidnapped. Alex's lack of commitment gets him demoted to 3rd string. Craig suspects Denise is having an affair and Sammy leads the cheerleaders looking for revenge on all the college guys who have wronged them. After a streak of bad luck, the team holds a Lock-In Party at the Goat House to build team camaraderie.

The show followed the story of a college football team, the Blue Mountain State Goats, and their antics on and off the field. The main character of the show is Alex Moran, played by Darin Brooks. Alex is a second-string quarterback and a party animal who is more interested in having fun than playing football. His best friend and roommate, Sammy Cacciatore, played by Chris Romano, is a backup linebacker who is equally as wild and carefree as Alex. He struggles to keep the team in line and often finds himself in sticky situations due to their antics.
