I'm getting a lot of conflicting information on how to seal the joins between boards. Some suggest just using an Alkaline resistant joint tape with a fast set tile adhesive is all that's needed and is a cheaper option than the manufactures recommended versions. The more I look the more confused I get I want to use a tape to seal around the bath and have seen the "Abacus no more leaks seal kit" but it's quite expensive and if I am buying a tape already that will do the same thing it will save a bit of money Any help is much appreciated.
