I have just had a carpenter in to fit my external oak stable door, decent job, no problems' There were two weatherboards, one for the top half of door, the other for the bottom half, BUT he has rebated the door frame to take the weatherboards, very, very neat job for when the doors are closed the job just looks great, but when the top half is open the rebated door frame looks a bit iffy, you know two triangle rebates just glare out at you. Now here is my question, is this normal practice? Just curious, would appreciate a little feedback please.
