When does charizard learn fly
It evolves from Charmeleon starting at level It is the final form of Charmander. It is primarily orange with a cream underside from the chest to the tip of its tail. It has a long neck, small blue eyes, slightly raised nostrils, and two horn-like structures protruding from the back of its rectangular head. There are two fangs visible in its upper jaw when its mouth is closed. Two large wings with blue-green undersides sprout from its back, and a horn-like appendage juts out from the top of the third joint of each wing. A single wing-finger is visible through the center of each wing membrane. Charizard's arms are short and skinny compared to its robust belly, and each limb has three white claws. It has stocky legs with cream-colored soles on each of its plantigrade feet. The tip of its long, tapering tail burns with a sizable flame, which can intensify to a blue flame if Charizard is irritated.
Defense:
Charizard is a Bug killer, so be sure to use it against Scyther, Parasect and co. When fighting against a Charizard, remember that its dual type nature makes it susceptible to any number of techniques, including Electric, Ice, Water, and Rock. Your best bet is to attack with standard Electric or Water and techniques like Thunder or Surf to knock it out quickly. A good technique for high-level Charizard users who are up against equally high opponents is to use Fire Spin in conjunction with potentially status-altering techniques like Toxic or Flamethrower. You know the drill: first poison or burn your opponent, then continuously use Fire Spin to drain the HP of the enemy Pokemon. You can also use Fly to drag out the length of the battle and cause more damage through Poison or Burn.
On the turn that Fly is selected, the user will fly up high and become semi-invulnerable , where the only attacks it cannot avoid are Bide and Swift. On the following turn, Fly will inflict damage, PP will be deducted from it, and it will count as the last move used. Once Fly is selected, the user will be unable to switch out unless Fly is disrupted or fully executed. If Fly is not fully executed, PP will not be deducted from it, and it will not count as the last move used. If the opponent uses Mirror Move during the turn that the user flies up high, Mirror Move will copy the move that the user executed immediately before using Fly or fail if it cannot. Full paralysis and self-inflicted damage due to confusion will disrupt Fly. Additionally, if the user is fully paralyzed during the semi-invulnerable turn of Fly, it will not be reset until the user switches out or fully executes Fly. Full paralysis will reset the semi-invulnerable turn of Fly. Mirror Move will copy Fly on either of the turns it takes to execute. The user can now be hit by Gust , Thunder , Twister , and Whirlwind during the semi-invulnerable turn of Fly, and will receive double damage from Gust and Twister.
