Dani Ardor is a psychology student that has been traumatized by a family tragedy; her sister kills herself and their parents by filling their house with carbon monoxide. This trauma adds pressure to her relationship with her boyfriend, who will soon end it after they come back from a trip to celebrate a midsummer celebration. Then we are introduced to the Harga, a giddy tribe living in the meadows of Sweden where they are surrounded by nothing but trees. The movie offers no explanation; we are instantly watching ancient rituals being performed harmless at first; they slowly start getting deadly.
