Our favorite park is Mistletoe, a GA state owned park. This park is just a few miles away from Mistletoe and we only stayed here because we could not get a site at Mistletoe.

Hours above shown for Central Time Zone. This is a very nice park in the woods, on a monster lake, with an awesome camp host and a zillion things to do. We came mostly to visit family, so spent much of our time with the family, but did get t Large campsites, privacy, quiet. Fellow campers were polite and respectful. Site host was great! Large park, well maintained with a variety of sites. Easy to navigate within the park and amenities les Tip for Other Campers: Large lake front or wooded sites. Diner up the road in gas station had pretty good food! This is a park that local residents should be proud to call theirs. It would be great to see more local municipalities follow their lead. The park has nearly every site with a water view and most are Tip for Other Campers: Evans, GA is about 8 miles down the road to get anything you may have forgotten at home. We did inherit a small ant problem after staying here-might want to consider dusting site before setting up.
