When you get into something that you hit a wall on, there are absolutely scores of brilliant people far more capable than I on the forums who are more than willing to help. My prediction is that you would gain a bunch of Home Assistant users AND keep getting the ones you currently do, who have no interest in automation. I use homeassistant.
