I have been using New Teams for some time. A couple of weeks ago, it started returning the message "Your admin has restricted access to the new Teams" in black text on a dark background, no less. I was previously signed into multiple tenants, so I am not sure whether or not it is attempting to connect to the correct tenant. I log in once.

My admin temporarily restricted access to new teams, they did this because they had some upgrade issues on their SOE, I however use a BYOD MacOS device, they have subsequently removed the restriction however my new teams client is stuck in a loop. When I open new teams I get this screen:. The problem I'm having is that the sign out button doesn't do anything anymore. I cannot sign out and sign in with a different account, for example I have another tenant which never had the new teams restriction but I can't sign out to try signing in with that. The button simply does nothing.

I reached out to our IT team and was told: This preview is under Microsoft control so I don't have any options to give this to you prior to Microsoft rolling out the new client. This banner may have popped up in your client recently. It looks like Jan is their target for rollout. I was able to download the New Teams and did have access for a couple of days before the restricted access screen came up. It feels like this is not a Microsoft issue but one on our Admin side.
