I've now done it exactly as TrollmanCapote recommended and it went through the new Installation with no errors. Thank you for the tips! I'm also on Manjaro and had this issue too, i uninstalled yt-dlg as KrisAphalon said it also removed the orphan python-wxpython , then rebooted and installed yt-dlg again and python-wxpython and it worked perfectly.
