Beautiful Blonde : Who is Elizabeth?
There's hardly a smidgen of chemistry between Rourke and Angie Everhart, what little erotic fun there is arrives too late, and the fully clothed dramatics are almost painfully uninteresting. By Brendan Kelly. Overwhelmed by memories of gal-pal Elizabeth, John jets over to Paris to try to locate her. Lea, flirting openly with John, is not forthcoming, though she finally claims that Elizabeth has married and moved to Tangiers. Their next meeting is at La Conciergerie, an ancient prison on the Ile de la Cite; when John arrives, Lea is lounging against the wall with shackles on her arms. But John continues to follow Lea and Claire around Paris, getting into fights in a local disco, having his pocket picked at an Arab gambling den and, finally, having rough sex with Lea in the middle of the night on a dingy street corner. In spite of further torrid encounters, John makes it clear this will be yet another doomed relationship.
Another 9 1 2 weeks
John travels to Paris to find Elizabeth 10 years after their intense affair, but after learning of her marriage to another man, he soon becomes involved with a beautiful and mesmerizing young designer. Directed by Anne Goursaud. The film premiered originally on The Movie Channel prior to a release on home-video. Lea reveals that she knows the details of their kinky affair, but that Elizabeth is now married. She takes Gray from a modeling show to wild clubs and finally into a public street corner for sex. Later, they finish off a fashion show with a menage a trois until Lea's partner Vittorio Steven Berkoff jealously interrupts to tell Gray that Elizabeth is actually dead. The next day, Lea brings Gray to the scene of Elizabeth's death, revealing the truth about her drug-addled past. After passionate intercourse involving flower petals, Gray leaves Lea, realizing their affair is doomed. Lea's desperate efforts to rekindle their passion result in him forcing her to perform with an abusive male prostitute. Realizing that he is no longer into such perversity, Gray stops the man from completely degrading her and leaves her for good. Looking bloated, bored, and constantly sweaty, Mickey Rourke seems an unlikely candidate for romantic-leading-man roles. Maybe not even leading-corpse roles, judging by this tired performance. He mumbles his way through this dreck with a complete lack of emotion or interest.
The film tells story Apologies there is no story in the movieof John who comes to Another 9 1 2 weeks in search of his ex lover. The film tries so hard to be erotic, but there are no sensual scenes and the attempts at them are excruciatingly embarrassing. Serious, getting to see Paris Hilton in the embarrassing positions she winds up in during this film makes it all worthwhile.

I found myself asking "why is this happening? There's hardly a smidgen of chemistry between Rourke and Angie Everhart, what little erotic fun there is arrives too late, and the fully clothed dramatics are almost painfully uninteresting. In theory the story was good, it just wasn't executed that well. Perhaps over- confidence caused this coldness? People Games. Not only will you be disappointed in it, but the images of a paunchy and washed-up Mickey Rourke will erase any pleasant memories of you have of charismatic John Gray. That's what I like about it. My bad. At the beginning of the movie there is this scene with a fantastically beautiful girl, only credited as 'beautiful blonde' Philippa Mathews. Mix in a stolen plot straight from Last Tango In Paris and un-erotic direction from the person who brought us Embrace of the Vampire and Poison Ivy II, and you have a movie that no one could love no matter where they live. The pacing of the film is downright horrid, the lack of style just made for an ugly mess and I'm really not sure why she decided to make everything so dark.
