Dodge journey battery saver mode

I recently purchased a used journey crew, all inspections cleared, 1 month in while driving the car entered safe mode. Once I was able to pull over and place in park there was a complete loss of power, no lights, no gauges not even a door signal. After being towed, the fob still doesn't work, still no power the next day. Dodge journey battery saver mode how can we assist you?

The purpose of the "battery saver mode" is to prevent running down the battery by accidentally leaving on the lights or some accessory while the motor is not running. Things turn off automatically after about 10 minutes. That way you don't come back to a "dead car" after parking it with the lights left on. My journey did the same thing " battery mode" shut off while driving I tested the battery at home and when I did a current check on the alternator I was only getting 12v not enough to charge the battery of course so I decided to swap it out. Installed with no issues turned on the car and was getting the same readings and same dash error. I was looking at the alternator when I noticed the belt wasnt moving as fast as it should have been. When I traced the belt back the belt was pinched between the pulley nearest to the firewall behind the tensioner The rounded edge on the pulley allowed the belt to keep spinning but it clearly wasnt right.

What does it mean. Does it associate with my battery being dead last month? Is it an indication of weak battery! I called dealership about it and they schedule me for next two weeks! Things turn off automatically after about 10 minutes. Is this normal? Then while driving it starts with a battery light then goes to battery saving mode then lastly parking assist pops up with check engine light and ABS Light. It's still under 36, miles so it should covered under the basic warranty. Until the alternator completely craps out the dealer will tell you everything is ok, and if the car dies leaving you stranded on the road, they will replace alternator and battery under warranty if you still have it and keep it quiet from the next owner coming in and asking why my new car is showing that the battery is not charging. The auto tensioner has a wear indicator if the belt is stretched too much, check for belt stretch. I replaced the battery with another good brand, literally following my own diagnosis process and discovered the alternator was poop even with it making 14v at the terminals, it just couldn't charge the batt.
