Shortly after grabbing the second gem, progress past the yellow pipe and to the end of the platform passed the brown fence. At the end, drop down to the slope in the water below, and head past the fish to get the third gem. Right at the end of the level, pull up the flowers to get a pickaxe. Drop down to the bottom of the level and smash the blocks to free the gold mushroom.
